Sant Joan
Sant Joan is located in the middle of the island and has 1866 inhabitants.
Hardly anyone knows allegedly Sant Joan. It lies in the plane of Mallorca and virtually disappears into the hills. There are hardly any records or data, as the little village was often confused with the same name in Ibiza. Hardly a village is so unremarkable. Because of the remoteness of the atmosphere has been preserved of the typical Majorcan village. Walking through narrow streets and admiring the old village houses, the church towers and windmills. Worth seeing is the old church of Sant Joan Baptista, which has a magnificent interior. The inhabitants live mainly from agriculture and animal husbandry.
