Inca

Inca is the third largest city on Majorca, and lives by the industry. A car needs only one who wants to explore the island. Trains and buses run here daily to Palma and other places.
Inca is very popular with walkers and is also known for its wine cellar with its ancient vaults Cellers very well known. In Inca there are countless shops, restaurants, wine cellar and can therefore compete with Palma. The city was rebuilt as a pedestrian zone and is fringed with trees, which offers a special flair.

History

The Inca city is known as the center of the shoe and leather crafts in Mallorca. The shoemaker guilds are the oldest dating back to Mallorca and the Catalan conquest of the island in the 13th Century. The leather and shoe trade has developed in this city to industrial companies of international repute.
Inca has no historical monuments. Worth seeing is the mountain with the chapel of St. Mary Magdalene.
