Campos

The rather flat Campos municipality on the southern coast of Majorca, along a coastline, the resort of Sa Rapita from as far west ses Arenes behind the long sandy beach of Es Trenc enough in the southeast, which attracts thousands of visitors in summer. The eponymous capital of the municipality is located about nine kilometers from the coast and about 35 km from Palma.
Main economic factors are agriculture, livestock and dairy.

History

 Campos translated fields / fields and probably dates back to Roman settlers and held during the Muslim rule. In 1300 King James I appointed to the city of Campos.
In Campos, the only sources are with healing mineral water. Since the 19th Century there is also a small spa.
